Pompano Beach Pathfinders Earn 1st Place at Pathfinder Bible Experience Finals

The Pompano Beach Seventh-day Adventist Church family is rejoicing as our Pathfinder Bible Experience (PBE) team achieved an incredible victory at the 2026 Pathfinder Bible Experience Finals.

After months of study, dedication, and prayer, our team competed against approximately 250 teams from around the world at the Conference level in Hawthorne and prevailed, earning 1st place. This accomplishment reflects not only academic excellence, but also a deep commitment to learning and hiding God’s Word in their hearts.

This year’s team included:

• Captain Skylar — chapters 1–7, 22, 23, 25, 28, and 31

• Shmael — chapters 8–13

• Giada — chapters 14–19 and 24

• Akarias — chapters 20, 21, and 27

• Njhael — chapters 28–30, 32, and 33

Each member faithfully carried a portion of the study material, demonstrating discipline, teamwork, and perseverance throughout the PBE season.

The team was led by Pathfinder Club Director Jose Bongay and Head Coach Romea George, with support from several dedicated coaches and church members who helped encourage and prepare the participants along the journey.

The North American Division recently highlighted this year’s finals as a gathering that “grounds young people in Scripture, community, and mission.” North American Division Pathfinder Bible Experience Recap Our church is grateful to see that mission alive in our own youth.

Most importantly, we celebrate that these young people are growing closer to Christ through the study of His Word. Psalm 119:105 reminds us, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”

Our youngest Bible Bowl team by average age—just 11 years old—has made history for Pompano Beach by winning 1st Place at the Conference Level of the Pathfinder Bible Experience. 🏆💯

The competition was held at Forest Lake Academy in Orlando, and our Warriors rose to the challenge with excellence, teamwork, and unwavering dedication.

We are incredibly proud of this remarkable achievement and grateful for the coaches, parents, and church family who continue to support them.
